*If your vehicle was purchased new or as a demonstrator model by you, and becomes a total loss within three years of the starting date of the original registration, we will replace your vehicle with a new vehicle of the same make, model and series if such a vehicle is available in Australia.

Extended Warranty Insurance

Nissan New Vehicle Extended Warranty Insurance helps protect your vehicle against unforeseen mechanical failures and provides extra benefits including vehicle towing, emergency accommodation, and rental vehicle and locksmith services. Available for purchase if:

  • Your vehicle is less than three years of age since first registered and has travelled less than 100,000 kilometres
  • You meet the eligibility criteria based on your vehicle use, service history and kilometres driven

How Does it Work With Your Other Insurance?

In the event of the accident, Nissan New Vehicle Extended Warranty Insurance will not cover the costs of repairs to your vehicle. To get cover in an accident, you’ll need to take out Nissan Prestige Motor Vehicle Insurance separately.

Nissan New Vehicle Extended Warranty covers the cost of repair or replacement in the event of mechanical failure and the costs that go with it.

How to Make a Claim?

If your vehicle suffers a mechanical failure please return your vehicle to us as your selling dealer. If not convenient you can also take your vehicle to an alternative Allianz authorised repairer. They will lodge the claim on your behalf and ensure your vehicle is back on the road as quickly as possible.

Extended Warranty Insurance PDS

Please note that if you choose to pay by monthly instalments the total sum of all instalments may be greater than the lump sum policy premium payable if the monthly instalment payment option is not taken.

Loan Protection Insurance

If you’ve financed your car, Nissan Loan Protection Insurance is designed to help cover your loan repayments if something happens to you. It covers your minimum monthly repayments in the event of accident, sickness, death, disability or involuntary unemployment, up to the policy limits.
